Creative Craft Fair
CELEBRATING 41 YEARS, CREATIVE CRAFT FAIRS REMAIN ONE OF VANCOUVER ISLANDS’ FINEST AND MOST ESTABLISHED FAIRS,
ATTRACTING THOUSANDS OF VISITORS LOOKING FOR EXCITING, HANDMADE AND IMPORTED GIFTS FOR THE HOLIDAY SEASON.

Coordinator Deanna Walters invites you to start your Christmas shopping. She is thrilled to announce new and returning exhibitors. Some of these exhibitors include:

Sweet Life Canada will be selling handmade Floral Candles. The candle wax must reach the perfect consistency before the colour and fragrance are added to each flower. The flowers are arranged using leaves and flower buds making each floral candle a unique gift.

The company Lost Things was started with a simple found coin. It was an old penny and the exhibitor wanted to create something unique. Lost Things has come a long way since then. Her jewelry is made from coins she has found or been gifted. Each piece is made with love and gratitude.

Field & Vine Gift Co creates luxury gift boxes that feature local foods and specialties, each with its own theme for special occasions. Each gift box is lovingly assembled with the finest products sourced from the coastal farm and wine communities of B.C., with a focus on Vancouver Island.

Rootside Provisions make delicious craft cocktail mixers with fresh, local and organic ingredients. Their current product line includes a ginger beer mix, tonic syrup, classic dry, cardamom and citrus.

There will be more than crafts at this year’s fair. New to the fair is Zero Waste Emporium, Vancouver Island’s first Zero Waste grocery store. They have officially opened downtown on Douglas Street across from the Victoria Public Market. They have everything you typically would fi nd at a regular grocery store, but completely package free and available in bulk. They will have earth-friendly personal care products and zero waste items like bamboo toothbrushes, string bags, reusable straws and beeswax wraps just to name a few items.

Popular food specialty exhibitors include Beaver House Fudge, Epicure Selections, Seafi re Soups, Baba’s Bakery, Circle Canning, Bake My Day Gluten Free, Ace Curries To Go, Coconama Chocolate Co., Maples Sugar Shack, Salt Spring Artisan Vinegar, Queen Bee Farms & Apiary, Filan Farm Artisans, Korean Kick, Beanboy Creations, Rockin Risotto and Rockery Winery.

Returning exhibitors include Woven Stone Co., Grayer Pottery, Rox Designs, Yunomi Studio & Gallery, Lin’s Fashion Jewelry, Drone Collectables, Norwex Enviro
Products, Lil Chunky Monkey & Friends, Baroness Ashley Hats, Westcoastees, SweetLegs, Classic Cutlery, Silver FX Inc., Greener Valley Trading, Inspired Wire, Nearbuds, Retro Repurposed, Caitynn’s Boutique, Pok a Dot Creations, Burnt Curve Designs, Glow Lanterns, Swallow Jewellery, Tisket A Tasket Baskets and many more.

Special guest Greg Joy will be playing Christmas, Celtic, folk-baroque and original music on guitar and hammered dulcimer Nov. 11 and 12.

There is plenty to see and do from enjoying snacks or lunch at Judy’s Snack Shack to visiting the children’s area. The Pearkes venue provides a relaxed environment that is wheelchair accessible.
